Jan Vels Jensen, Executive Vice President, Marketing
Danish born Jan Vels Jensen is based in Paris and is responsible for Arkadin’s Global Marketing.
Prior to joining Arkadin in late 2009, Jan was Senior Vice President, Marketing at FAST, a Microsoft Subsidiary, based in Boston, Massachusetts. There he was responsible for the company’s global corporate and field marketing organisation, driving all in-bound and out-bound marketing activities including lead generation, events, marketing communications, product marketing and press and analyst relations. Before his move to Boston, Jan held various senior marketing positions at high-tech software companies such as Borland, Macromedia and Oracle and also been part of two start-up companies, one of which floated successfully on NASDAQ.
Jan has 20 years of experience within the software technology industry, fulfilling a variety of international roles in Europe, the USA and Asia Pacific. He has lived in Africa, California, Boston, Texas, Amsterdam, London and now Paris.
